Digital asset management

We use WebNative technology to do some pretty clever things. With it, we can provide online digital asset management for delivery of imagery, logos and artwork templates around the world. As part of the download process, each image can be converted for use in print or on the web and, thanks to our huge dedicated pipe to the outside world, you won’t suffer from slow transfer rates when downloading the files. Our artwork delivery system is used by companies such as Nestlé to distribute packaging artworks to subsidiaries as well as localised printers all over the globe.

On-line approval

Another important part of our offering that helps us deliver so many of our other services is our online approval system. This has revolutionised the way we do business with our clients. It allows us to put high resolution PDF and Artpro files online so that each person in the approval cycle can access the same file, using their own unique user profile. Individuals can then add their comments and see what other people have said about the file. This drastically reduces the amount of times files have to go for correction.

In addition, once we have carried out the updates and added the new proof, users can view the old one with the new, comparing the two on screen at the same time. The system highlights what has changed, massively speeding up the checking process.

Storing and retrieving all the versions with their individual user comments means that you maintain full accountability throughout the life of the project.

By its very nature, the system significantly reduces the amount of paper proofs required, but still lets you run out a hard copy proof if you need one.

First introduced with Mothercare two years ago, the company now has over 80 users registered on the system. It has even enabled their buyers to check proofs while on buying trips to the Far East!
